Welcome to our Glory Hole!
The attic is full; the garage is full; all the nooks and crannies throughout the house are full.
We are squirrels. We find it very challenging to part with things - not because of sentimental value but because we love everything we have.
My biggest passion in this area is photographs. I cannot bear to part with them - either printed or digital. Every one holds a special memory of a person, a place or an event in my life - and, like everyone else, my life is an intricately woven tapestry full of colour and emotion.
I can say with total honesty that I have absolutely no regrets in my life at all. Regrets have never appealed to me so I never collected any. Spending a few minutes or hours every so often, sifting through the images of my life so far, is a treat I relish as much as a steaming hot mug of chocolate after an invigorating winter walk with Poggie!
Space...give me more space and I will simply fill it with more treasures. My 'printed treasures' are housed in the spaces we already have and with the advent of this, our Glory Hole, I now have a home for my 'digital treasures'. Only a few so far, but I have thousands to resize and add so no doubt this little glory hole will soon resemble the famous Tardis!
Although there is some form of organsiation here, I am not too worried about logging in great detail - after all, life is an adventure so why shouldn't recalling life be an adventure, too?
